SIDLO Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 5, 2026 · Version 1.2

This policy explains information handling in SIDLO, the Android game (com.sidlo.game) developed by Yoatech. Contact: reply@yoatech.com — yoatech.com.

Game data on your device

Level progress, perfect-clear badges, your current board, move history, language, sound and vibration preferences, ad-frequency information, and the age group selected on first launch are stored on your device. The age choice is only “under 13” or “13 and older”; the game does not ask for a date of birth. These game saves are not sent to Yoatech servers. SIDLO does not provide SIDLO accounts, cloud saves, social features or in-app purchases.

The Android package includes the Firebase Analytics SDK, but analytics collection is disabled by default and no analytics events are currently sent. The app does not currently have an Analytics consent flow. AdMob ad measurement is separate from Firebase Analytics.

Local records remain until you clear app data or uninstall the game. Android app backup is disabled in the game configuration; operating-system and device-manufacturer transfer features may apply separately.

Advertising and service providers

SIDLO uses Google AdMob for optional rewarded ads that provide one hint and occasional interstitial ads between completed levels. Completing a rewarded ad is only needed for that hint, not to play levels. Play continues when no ad is available. Development builds may use test ads.

Google's advertising service may process IP addresses (to estimate a general region), device and app information, ad/app interactions, diagnostics and identifiers allowed by the configuration. Purposes include ad delivery, measurement, frequency control and abuse prevention. SDK transmissions are encrypted. Google processes information under its own policies; sharing with advertising service providers and processing outside your country may occur. Yoatech does not determine Google's retention periods.

Children and advertising choices

SIDLO is a puzzle game for a broad range of ages. On first launch, a neutral age screen asks the player to choose “under 13” or “13 and older.” This choice is stored only on the device; no date of birth is collected. The full game can be played without signing into an account for either choice.

The current Android version applies child-directed treatment, under-age-of-consent treatment, a general-audience ad content limit and non-personalized advertising settings to all players. Publisher first-party IDs are disabled and Android advertising-ID permission is removed from the manifest. These settings do not mean that the advertising SDK processes no data.

Google's User Messaging Platform checks privacy status before ad requests. Privacy choices appear in Settings when required and available. The child-safe configuration does not request consent for personalized advertising. The game does not create behavioral advertising profiles or ask children for names, email addresses or contact information. Parents and guardians can contact us with privacy requests.

Firebase Analytics and Google Play Games

The Android package includes the Firebase Analytics SDK. Analytics collection is disabled by default, and the current app sends no Firebase Analytics events because it has no consent flow. UMP advertising consent is not used as Analytics consent. If this changes, this policy will be updated before collection begins. When enabled, Firebase may process app usage, app/device information and diagnostics under its service documentation and privacy policy. SIDLO's permitted Analytics event types are limited to level start/end, tutorial completion and perfect clears; they do not include names, email addresses or raw move sequences.

Google Play Games is optional and is initialized only after a player chooses “13 and older” and separately chooses to connect it in Settings. The full game works without a Google account. In versions with Play Games enabled, Google may process service data such as a player's gamer identity, gamertag/avatar and achievement progress when the player signs in and uses those features. The Play Games project is still in draft and is not available in the store release. SIDLO does not request or store a Google Play Games account email on its game server. Players can manage or delete Play Games data from their Play Games profile.

Permissions and deletion

The game uses internet/network access for advertising and vibration for optional haptic feedback. It does not request camera, microphone, contacts or precise-location access. You can clear data in Android Settings > Apps > SIDLO > Storage; this also deletes progress, badges and the age-group choice stored on the device. Yoatech holds no server copy of your game saves.

If you email us, we use the contact and request information you provide to answer your request. Depending on your location, you may have rights of access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction and complaint to your privacy authority. Contact reply@yoatech.com. Google's controls also apply to information processed by Google.
