Privacy Policy — Road Fighter

This Privacy Policy explains what data is collected when you use the Road Fighter ("App") mobile game, how it is used, and what rights you have. By installing and playing the App, you agree to this policy.

1. Data We Collect

1.1 Data You Provide

  • Player nickname: A short alias of up to 8 characters that you enter when you choose to submit your score to the global leaderboard. We do not ask for your real name, email, or any other identifying information. If you leave the field blank, your score is not sent to the global leaderboard.

1.2 Automatically Collected Data

  • Anonymous identifier: Firebase Authentication generates a random session ID per device that contains no personal information. This ID is used only for score validation and does not identify you.
  • Game data: In-game values such as score, distance (km), and game duration are sent to the global leaderboard together with your nickname.
  • Advertising and device data: Through Google AdMob, we may process the device Advertising ID, IP address, device type, operating system version, language settings, and general ad-interaction metrics.

1.3 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following information never leaves your device and is not sent to our servers:

  • Local high-score list
  • Total games played counter (used to control ad frequency)
  • Audio and control preferences

If you uninstall the App, this data is removed along with it.

2. How We Use the Data

We use the data we collect only for the following purposes:

  • To operate and display the global leaderboard
  • To validate scores server-side and prevent cheating
  • To control fair ad-display frequency
  • To serve ads and measure ad performance (via Google AdMob)
  • To diagnose errors and improve App performance

We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for marketing.

3. Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following Google services. Each service has its own privacy policy that applies in addition to this one:

Service Purpose Policy
Firebase Authentication Anonymous session ID https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Cloud Firestore Global leaderboard storage https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Google AdMob Ad serving and measurement https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
Google Play Services Advertising ID and device APIs https://policies.google.com/privacy

These services process data under Google's own standards and legal obligations.

4. Personalized Advertising

Google AdMob may show personalized ads based on your interests. You can control this behavior from your device settings:

  • Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization"
  • Reset advertising ID: Available from the same menu

If you are located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, a consent screen may be displayed in line with GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive; your preferences are stored on your device.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided us with data, please contact us at the email above and we will delete it as soon as possible.

6. Data Retention

  • Leaderboard records: Stored indefinitely. If you want your score removed, email us and your nickname/score row will be deleted.
  • Anonymous session ID: Removed from the device when you clear App data or uninstall the App; afterwards there is no link to the anonymous record on the server.
  • Advertising data: Subject to Google AdMob's retention policies.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, KVKK, etc.), you have the right to:

  • Know what data is being processed
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Object to data processing
  • Lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority

To exercise these rights, contact: bubiziyorar@gmail.com

8. Data Security

  • Server-side access is restricted by Firestore Security Rules.
  • Score submissions go through anti-cheat validations (score/second, km/second limits, etc.).
  • Communication is encrypted over HTTPS.

No system is 100% secure; in the event of a data breach we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, if appropriate, display a notice inside the App. The current version is always available on this page.
